4 Pairs of Jeans You Should Have in Your Closet

I’m currently in a very serious, long-term, love/hate relationship with jeans. Every girl can relate to the feeling of disappointment that comes with trying on countless jean sizes only to be left empty handed and upset. It takes a special shape and fit of jeans to fit me right but when I do find the perfect fit, it’s love at first sight. Although it’s quite a process to find jeans (no matter your body type), every woman deserves to feel amazing in a pair of jeans that fits her like a glove. Once you find that perfect fit, here are 4 pairs of jeans you should have in your closet.

  1. Boyfriend Jeans

The boyfriend jean is a staple in my comfy and casual college student wardrobe. They can be simply worn with a tee and sneakers or dressed up with sweaters and boots. The toughest thing about boyfriend jeans is they rarely have stretch in them so they can be kind of restricting. You will probably have to size up in this style, but remember that size is just a number, not who you are. I love the boyfriend jeans I’m wearing in this photo! They are distressed, embellished with patches and stitching, and they are so ridiculously soft.

  1. Black Jeans

This category is a little bit vague but trust me, it’s still important. I just recently invested in this pair of black flare jeans and I love them so much I talked about them in my first post. Black jeans not only go with any color or outfit, but they are so flattering. A belt really pops out on the black and they help transition your outfit into any season!

  1. Bell Bottom Jeans

Bell bottom jeans have been coming back into style this past year and I’m so here for this trend! I love the retro look they give off and they make the simplest outfit look cute and unique. I wore a pair of bell bottoms to a tailgate one day when I was feeling pretty lazy and just wanted to wear something comfy. I threw on a tee shirt and jeans but it looked way cuter because of the large flare my jeans had! Plus: attention will be drawn to your feet to show off whatever cute shoes you’ve paired with your jeans!

  1. Embroidered Jeans

This is another jean trend that I’ve been loving, especially for spring and summer. Embroidered jeans give a high end touch to any casual pair of blue jeans. I’ve seen flowers, skulls and even bugs embroidered onto people’s jeans and I love the personalized touch it gives to an outfit. Something I want to do this summer is find an old pair of jeans at the thrift store, get an embroidery pattern and try my handy work! I’ll let you guys know how that goes, obviously.

No matter your shape, size or style preference, the perfect pair of jeans is out there waiting for you. Shopping for this wardrobe staple is no easy task but next time your doing so, look for these cute styles to add some flare to your outfit!
