This past weekend I took a very special weekend trip with my best friends from home. After a quick hour flight from Milan, I found myself in the “city of lights and love” for the weekend – Paris! I’ve been wanting to visit Paris since I was little, and I have been counting down the days this semester to this weekend.
I spent the weekend eating delicious French food and taking in all the sights! We saw Notre-Dame Cathedral, visited the Louvre Museum and ate crepes at the Eiffel Tower. We also enjoyed a boat tour at sunset on Friday night so that we could experience the sights from the Seine river and see everything start to light up for the night!
On Saturday I spent the day at Disneyland Paris and had the most magical day with my friends. On Sunday I grabbed some macarons from Laduree and found a spot by the Seine to read and enjoy the view. I truly never wanted to leave Paris and I am already counting the days till I can be back in this amazing city.
