My second weekend here I decided to venture out of Italy and head to Frankfurt, Germany with my best friends from school. I have been to Munich before, so I was eager to explore another beautiful German town. I took a quick 40-minute flight into Frankfurt and was greeted by a beautiful skyline and my best friends, followed by a scenic taxi ride into the city center. We began our trip with a walking tour that took us all over the city: from old town Frankfurt to the booming red-light district. We enjoyed the historical sights, classic German food and Frankfurt Apple-wine. It was a fantastic trip, and Frankfurt surprised me with its mix of history and modern city life.
