My Mini Sephora Haul: 3 Products I’m Glad I Splurged On

At any given time, my online Sephora shopping cart is filled with more skincare products than any normal person could ever need. Most days I just look longingly though the rave-reviewed and pricey items, but every once and awhile I will treat myself and my skin to a few new products. Last week I bought three new skin care items that I’ve seen grow a cult following and I finally decide to try them out myself. Luckily I loved all three products (but remember that Sephora has an amazing return policy, so risky buys can always be sent back!) and I can’t wait to keep seeing the great results they’re bringing my skin. Here’s a look at my mini Sephora skin care haul:

1. Brazilian Bum Bum Cream by Sol De Janeiro

I’ve seen people rave about the Brazilian Bum Bum Cream for months now and I was eager to try it when it came in the mail. I was a bit concerned that the lotion would irritate my very sensitive skin, but I have been using it every day for the past week and my skin is nothing but smooth and hydrated. This lotion is a bit pricey but I’ve quickly realized that a little goes a long way. A quarter sized amount will be more than enough to hydrate both of your legs! The smell is strong at first but it sinks into your skin nicely and blends with perfume and other scents quite well. I would describe this cream as a grown-up classy version of the warm vanilla sugar body lotion we all used to love in middle school.

2. EradiKate Mask Foam-Activated Acne Treatment by Kate Somerville

I’m no stranger to the Kate Somerville brand, as I’ve talked about using the face wash from this line in my skin care routine post. I decided to pick up the EradiKate Mask Foam-Activated Acne Treatment as a winter alternative to the intense clay masks I use for my acne during the summer months when my dry skin is not as big of an issue. As it gets colder, my skin gets drier but my acne still persists, limiting the amount of acne fighting products that I can use. This foaming acne mask has helped me clear up my midterms stress induced breakout quickly but didn’t dry out my skin at all! Its easy to take off and you can really feel it working as the mask foams! Just like the cream, a little goes a long way with this mask and you get a good amount of product in the pump!

3. Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask

Finally, this product is one that has been in my cart for SO long. The Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask is a product that I have heard so many beauty gurus talk about for months now, and with the cold weather headed my way I figured my skin was in need of all the moisturizing it could get! I have loved using this product so far overnight, as a regular mask and even as a moisturizer. There is unfortunately not a ton of product in the tube, so I can see myself having to repurchase this product a bit sooner than I would usually like for the price I paid for it. I love how easy it is to apply and it soaks into the skin fast enough to wear it as a moisturizer on chillier days. I will definitely be trying the new mask in this line soon and I hope it’s as great as the Jet Lag mask!

I’m sure we are all guilty of hoarding products in our online Sephora cart and can relate to the giddiness you feel when you actually make a purchase! I hope you liked this mini haul and if any of these products have been catching your eye be sure to finally take the plunge and get them for yourself!
